Almost 5 months OLD!

Audrey Jane's first snow a day, December 26th 2012

Audrey Jane will be 5 months old tomorrow. She is still exclusively breastfeed but we plan on starting baby led weaning next month. In the last few days we have discovered two bottom teeth starting to poke through. In the last month she has started drooling less but everything goes straight to her mouth. She loves chewing on her feet during naked time. She has been to the church nursery twice. The first time she last 90 minutes during Mops but then only lasted 30 minutes the following Sunday. Mommy had a cold over the weekend so she and Audrey stayed home from church. Audrey became a pro at rolling back to belly around 4.5 months but has only made her way back a few times. She can now roll even on her green changing  pad. Mommy hasn't been working as much and is enjoying spending lots of time with Audrey.

4 months old -Christmas Day

Audrey Jane had her 4 month check up on January 7th, a couple of weeks past her actual 4 month "birthday" on Christmas. She weighed 12 pounds 15 ounces and is 24 inches long. She is now in the 24th and 26th percentiles respectively. While her head is a whopping 90th percentile! Granny and Pappy spent several days with us over Christmas and one of Audrey's favorite new things is being carried facing outward on Granny's hip. We also switched to medium G diapers and put away her 0 to 3 month clothes. She is much more interested in her toys, likes to suck on 3 of her fingers, and is still drooling a ton. And she still has very little hair as you can see in the pictures.

Christmas is COMING

Yesterday Audrey and I went Christmas shopping with Aunt Rach, Aunt Brittany, and Aunt Becky. We had a blast for a few hours but then Audrey was more than ready for her Daddy to come pick her up (and so was Mommy). Today Audrey is sporting a cute new bib from Aunt Brittany and I couldn't resist snapping a picture. She hasn't worn bibs very often and she is loving putting it in her mouth.

Last week Audrey and I went with Anna, Annali, and Ashley to meet Penny and Parker in West Virgina. It was a long LONG day but we loved our time with Kristina and her baby girls. Audrey seemed so big next to the girls who were work on Halloween.

3 months Old

Audrey is now 3 months old and time is flying by. She changes so much every week. Her new thing is sucking and chewing on everything but especially her hands. She usually prefers to be on the floor (or in her swing, on her changing pad, or in the rock and play) playing instead of being held unless she is hungry or sleepy. It is so much fun seeing her interact with her toys. She really likes a station on Pandora called Solo Piano music and and as Christmas present to Daddy we upgraded to the version without commercials and got a docking station for our phones. She has became a much more efficient eater and we really spend very little time breastfeeding these days, only about 5 to 10 minutes 8 or so times in a 24 hour period. She is close to outgrowing her small size G diapers and Mamma has been preparing to move up to mediums. Momma went back to work last week for one night and it was rough, but probably worse for Momma than for Audrey and Daddy. We almost have the house decorated for Christmas, Audrey doesn't love the lights as much as we thought she would but she may before we take our decorations down!

Audrey Jane's first Thanksgiving

 Audrey had a great Thanksgiving weekend. We spend a long day at Grandma and Papa Joe's on Thursday, went to Granny and Pappy's on Friday, stayed with Aunt Brittany and Uncle Jake and spent the day in Breck County Saturday while daddy and Aunt Rach came home for the U of L game.
